Box Contents and Size

A Farm Share consists of a weekly delivery of a seasonal variety of vegetables from our farm. You can expect between 5 and 10 items per week, many familiar and a few that may be new to you. You will also get a weekly newsletter with your box. We design our Standard Share box to feed a couple or small family who eats a reasonable amount of vegetables. Our Small Share box is about one third less food than the Standard, and our Large Share box is a good deal more per week.

Sharing the Risk and Bounty

As home gardeners and farmers know, the harvest reflects not only the grower's efforts but also the whims of the weather! By purchasing a Farm Share, you agree to share in the risk that is inherent in growing food, and we commit to doing our utmost to assure that you receive a fair, abundant, delicious share of produce. We make this agreement in advance, knowing that we will each do our very best to make this partnership succeed.

Pricing

The price you pay - the commitment you make in our partnership - is $390 per Standard Share, $325 for our Small Share and $470 for our Large Share. For those prices, you receive 20 deliveries of freshly harvested, washed, vibrant produce grown without synthetic inputs and with personal care. You may choose from a number of payment options listed on the sign-up form. From time to time, we will also be offering other products such as poultry, eggs, fruits and berries, soaps, pork, beef, etc for purchase from local growers in the northeast Iowa region. Prices will be available when we list the products for sale.

FlexCal

Additionally, this season we are introducing a new program - FlexCal - which allows Farm Shareholders to identify and pay for the exact weeks they would like to receive their Farm Share boxes. So, for example, if you are going to be away for 5 different weeks during our season, you can still purchase a Farm Share and indicate to us when you will be hoome to receive them.
